Importance of classification Organisms

Importance of classification of Organisms

**Why do we need a classification? and what is classification? πŸ€”πŸ€”This is the general question that you can ask after seeing this topic.πŸ˜‰

**Today I'm discussing why we need a classification of organisms.😎
. So first let's talk about "What is classification?"

Grouping organisms into different levels based on their common characteristic is called Classification. This is the simplest definition for classification.🀩

Have you know that Aristotle is the person who introduced the first scientific classification of organisms in 4th B.C. 😲 however Carolus Linnaeus introduced the successful classification.πŸ‘ I hope to discuss further details of this topic in my future blog post.πŸ˜‰

So let's go back to our question ---> Why do we need a classification of organisms?

1. Easy to study

By classifying it is easy to study different types of organisms, with common characteristics and different characteristics separately. Also can study them without mixing organisms with each other.

2. ability to identify specific distinguishable characteristics of a given organism

As I explained earlier, it is easy to study their characteristics without mixing them with other organisms

3. Ability to reveal the relationships between different groups of organism

By grouping them according to their common characteristic we can get a simple idea about how the evolutionary process takes place in the past. Also according to the evolutionary process, we can easily find out groups of organisms who have a relationship with other organisms.

4. Identification of organisms with economic uses to human

By classifying we can easily identify beneficial organisms according to their characteristics.

I'll take this example to show how it is important to people in present.

Today we all know that we are under the influence of microorganisms. So what if we did not classify microorganisms into groups of bacteria, fungi, algae, protozoa, and viruses? We will not be able to find out for sure who this creature is. We know that they live only in living organisms as a common feature of the virus. Because of that, we can easily destroy viruses that live on the non-living matter.

So thisπŸ‘† is a suitable exampleπŸ‘ to give a simple idea about how much it(classification of organisms) is important to usπŸ‘Š. I think you got it.😊

Finally, I want to say that Please share this among your friendsπŸ˜‰ and leave a comment too...πŸ€—.
